The Aptar Pharm Advanced Preservative Free (APF) system uses the “flippable/filter” seal technology avoiding any chemical additives designed to prevent contamination of the container. The “flippable/filter” closure system acts as a physical barrier preserving the formulation from external contamination. The air required to balance the loss of volume in the container after the use is filtered through a multilayer PTFE membrane.

Airless Technology Packaging

The non-pressurized AIRLESS technology system is composed of a mechanical pump and a double room container separated by an internal piston or «poche» that allows the product never come in contact with the air and then with the environment exterior, protecting it from any kind of contamination. The product is always perfectly preserved and deteriorates less rapidly.

In addition to be the ideal device for products with a low content of preservatives, it allows to present a high-tech container that represents the modern alternative to the more common tubes, bottles or plastic jars, able to offer a precise dosage of the product and an extreme simplicity of use.
