Today sustainability should be a way of life, and each of us must do our part in raising awareness of this issue to set an example for future generations.
Therefore, sustainable development must be actively incorporated and promoted by businesses and societies to ensure that the needs of the present generation are met, without compromising the ability of future generations to realize their own.
For this reason, in 2018 we began our journey towards sustainability, aiming to promote sustainable themes and projects, arriving in 2022 at the creation of an internal team dedicated to the implementation of ESG projects.
Starting from the contents of the 2030 Global Agenda for Sustainable Development and the European Green Deal, the most important and relevant SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) for the activities of our organization were analyzed and identified.
This allowed the planning and execution of specific and effective interventions, which allowed Biokosmes to achieve concrete results in all pre-established sectors. The projects developed and implemented had as their common thread the achievement of a better and more sustainable future for all employees and their families.

In 2024 we completed again our Carbon Footprint study of the production site, to estimate the total greenhouse gases emissions caused directly and indirectly by Biokosmes, so that actions can be taken to reduce emissions.
